Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 7,442,278 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Illinois and they represented 59.15% of the total population of Illinois in 2022. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (2,087,476), followed by DuPage County (586,366), and Will County (416,827). On the other hand, Alexander County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (3,059), followed by Pulaski County (3,084), and Hardin County (3,332).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Jasper County had the highest percentage (96.92%), followed by Greene County (96.89%), and Shelby County (96.62%).
