Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 3,166,688 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Maryland and they represented 53.78% of the total population of Maryland in 2012. Baltimore County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (501,208), followed by Montgomery County (480,807), and Anne Arundel County (394,502). On the other hand, Somerset County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (13,488), followed by Kent County (15,675), and Dorchester County (21,279).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Garrett County had the highest percentage (97.05%), followed by Carroll County (90.89%), and Allegany County (87.86%).
