Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 957,754 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Montana and they represented 85.30% of the total population of Montana in 2022. Yellowstone County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (144,228), followed by Gallatin County (112,077), and Missoula County (105,807). On the other hand, Petroleum County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (493), followed by Treasure County (671), and Golden Valley County (745).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Garfield County had the highest percentage (96.31%), followed by Carter County (95.08%), and Judith Basin County (94.71%).
