Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, there were 4,888,135 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Tennessee and they represented 74.69% of the total population of Tennessee in 2014. Davidson County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (380,665), followed by Knox County (372,642), and Shelby County (346,938). On the other hand, Pickett County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (4,923), followed by Lake County (5,186), and Van Buren County (5,499).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Scott County had the highest percentage (97.65%), followed by Hancock County (97.43%), and Fentress County (96.95%).
