Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, there were 4,910,638 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Tennessee and they represented 74.46% of the total population of Tennessee in 2015. Davidson County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (385,521), followed by Knox County (374,448), and Shelby County (342,941). On the other hand, Pickett County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (4,981), followed by Lake County (5,110), and Van Buren County (5,473).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Scott County had the highest percentage (97.56%), followed by Hancock County (97.26%), and Fentress County (96.85%).
