Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 592,154 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Vermont and they represented 92.10% of the total population of Vermont in 2020. Chittenden County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (147,455), followed by Rutland County (57,337), and Washington County (55,833). On the other hand, Essex County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (5,632), followed by Grand Isle County (6,733), and Lamoille County (24,343).
