United States Non-Hispanic White alone Population By State in 2020

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 197,704,168 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in the United States and they represented 59.64% of the total US population in 2020.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (14,175,127), followed by Texas (11,883,632), and Florida (11,420,948). On the other hand, District of Columbia had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (248,476) followed by Hawaii (308,823), and Alaska (434,992).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Maine had the highest percentage (92.75%), followed by Vermont (92.37%), and West Virginia (91.63%).
