United States Non-Hispanic White alone Population By State in 2020

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 197,368,545 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in the United States and they represented 59.53% of the total US population in 2020.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (14,211,359), followed by Texas (12,014,271), and Florida (11,430,533). On the other hand, District of Columbia had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (249,025) followed by Hawaii (313,446), and Alaska (438,537).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Maine had the highest percentage (92.67%), followed by Vermont (92.10%), and West Virginia (91.59%).
