Massachusetts Hispanic or Latino Population By County in 2012

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 683,412 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Massachusetts and they represented 10.26% of the total population of Massachusetts in 2012.

Suffolk County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (157,526), followed by Essex County (133,835), and Middlesex County (108,720). On the other hand, Dukes County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (454), followed by Nantucket County (1,095), and Franklin County (2,564).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Hampden County had the highest percentage (22.14%), followed by Suffolk County (20.97%), and Essex County (17.67%).
