Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 92,582 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Mississippi and they represented 3.10% of the total population of Mississippi in 2016.

Harrison County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (10,933), followed by Jackson County (8,954), and DeSoto County (8,462). On the other hand, Issaquena County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (21), followed by Jefferson County (53), and Franklin County (74).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Scott County had the highest percentage (10.78%), followed by Adams County (8.62%), and Tallahatchie County (6.56%).
