Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2019, there were 43,494 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Montana and they represented 4.06% of the total population of Montana in 2019.

Yellowstone County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (9,728), followed by Gallatin County (4,586), and Missoula County (4,176). On the other hand, Garfield County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (9), followed by Petroleum County (11), and Carter County (16).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Yellowstone County had the highest percentage (6.03%), followed by Big Horn County (5.95%), and Richland County (5.58%).
