Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 353,792 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in South Carolina and they represented 6.89% of the total population of South Carolina in 2020.

Greenville County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (58,172), followed by Charleston County (29,167), and Spartanburg County (27,940). On the other hand, Bamberg County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (121), followed by McCormick County (138), and Allendale County (211).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Jasper County had the highest percentage (17.33%), followed by Saluda County (16.01%), and Beaufort County (12.41%).
