Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 2,338,539 people in Illinois who identified as Hispanic or Latino. Among this group, 90.86% (2,124,716) identified their race as White, 3.28% (76,797) identified their race as Black or African American, and 2.59% (60,461) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native.
