Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 2,348,690 people in Illinois who identified as Hispanic or Latino. Among this group, 90.83% (2,133,346) identified their race as White, 3.29% (77,338) identified their race as Black or African American, and 2.58% (60,573) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native.
