Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, there were 1,602,353 people in New Jersey who identified as Hispanic or Latino. Among this group, 83.91% (1,344,519) identified their race as White, 9.54% (152,904) identified their race as Black or African American, and 2.99% (47,834) identified their race as Two Or More Races .
