Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 1,018,258 people in New Mexico who identified as Hispanic or Latino. Among this group, 90.64% (922,970) identified their race as White, 4.79% (48,731) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native, and 2.30% (23,409) identified their race as Two Or More Races .
