Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 1,153,562 people in North Carolina who identified as Hispanic or Latino. Among this group, 80.33% (926,701) identified their race as White, 9.33% (107,599) identified their race as Black or African American, and 4.88% (56,279) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native.
