Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2019, there were 38,388 people in South Dakota who identified as Hispanic or Latino. Among this group, 71.51% (27,452) identified their race as White, 18.42% (7,069) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native, and 6.05% (2,324) identified their race as Two Or More Races .
