Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 41,031 people in South Dakota who identified as Hispanic or Latino. Among this group, 72.47% (29,733) identified their race as White, 17.37% (7,127) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native, and 6.04% (2,479) identified their race as Two Or More Races .
