Matanuska-Susitna Borough had the highest net domestic migration (1,930) followed by Kenai Peninsula Borough (159), and Hoonah-Angoon Borough (31). On the other hand, Anchorage Borough had the lowest net domestic migration (-6,477), followed by Fairbanks North Star Borough (-1,314), and Kodiak Island Borough (-413).
