According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2016, the net domestic migration for Arizona was 62,460. Maricopa County had the highest net domestic migration (44,692) followed by Pinal County (8,985), and Yavapai County (4,769). On the other hand, Cochise County had the lowest net domestic migration (-1,140), followed by Santa Cruz County (-555), and Yuma County (-441).

Net Domestic Migration for a given county refers to the the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
