According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2011, the net domestic migration for Colorado was 27,111. Denver County had the highest net domestic migration (8,931) followed by Arapahoe County (4,161), and El Paso County (3,660). On the other hand, Eagle County had the lowest net domestic migration (-904), followed by Garfield County (-731), and Moffat County (-517).

Net Domestic Migration for a given county refers to the the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
