According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2016, the net domestic migration for Connecticut was -29,233. Middlesex County had the highest net domestic migration (-499) followed by Windham County (-806), and Tolland County (-1,142). On the other hand, Fairfield County had the lowest net domestic migration (-8,416), followed by Hartford County (-8,259), and New Haven County (-6,911).
