According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2013, the net domestic migration for Indiana was 73. Hamilton County had the highest net domestic migration (4,186) followed by Hendricks County (2,042), and Johnson County (1,171). On the other hand, Lake County had the lowest net domestic migration (-3,025), followed by St. Joseph County (-950), and Monroe County (-588).

Net Domestic Migration for a given county refers to the the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
