According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net domestic migration for Iowa was -7,990. Dallas County had the highest net domestic migration (2,774) followed by Warren County (745), and Madison County (241). On the other hand, Story County had the lowest net domestic migration (-2,444), followed by Linn County (-1,529), and Black Hawk County (-1,111).
