According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2019, the net domestic migration for Maryland was -23,055. Frederick County had the highest net domestic migration (3,404) followed by Anne Arundel County (1,626), and Harford County (1,087). On the other hand, Baltimore city had the lowest net domestic migration (-10,854), followed by Montgomery County (-9,554), and Prince George's County (-9,498).

Net Domestic Migration for a given county refers to the the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
