According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net domestic migration for Massachusetts was -56,813. Barnstable County had the highest net domestic migration (950) followed by Franklin County (157), and Nantucket County (-182). On the other hand, Middlesex County had the lowest net domestic migration (-18,198), followed by Suffolk County (-18,094), and Essex County (-6,920).
