According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net domestic migration for Massachusetts was -57,292. Barnstable County had the highest net domestic migration (954) followed by Franklin County (158), and Nantucket County (-180). On the other hand, Suffolk County had the lowest net domestic migration (-18,434), followed by Middlesex County (-18,102), and Essex County (-6,861).
