According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2015, the net domestic migration for Mississippi was -12,284. DeSoto County had the highest net domestic migration (1,556) followed by Madison County (1,067), and Harrison County (1,029). On the other hand, Hinds County had the lowest net domestic migration (-2,628), followed by Washington County (-1,254), and Lauderdale County (-1,140).
