According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2019, the net domestic migration for Mississippi was -10,437. DeSoto County had the highest net domestic migration (2,321) followed by Harrison County (984), and Rankin County (552). On the other hand, Hinds County had the lowest net domestic migration (-4,910), followed by Washington County (-1,114), and Sunflower County (-1,064).
