According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2020, the net domestic migration for Mississippi was -14,205. DeSoto County had the highest net domestic migration (2,329) followed by Harrison County (452), and Hancock County (404). On the other hand, Hinds County had the lowest net domestic migration (-4,594), followed by Yazoo County (-2,720), and Washington County (-1,044).
