According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net domestic migration for New Mexico was -1,088. Sandoval County had the highest net domestic migration (2,280) followed by Doña Ana County (1,049), and Valencia County (878). On the other hand, Bernalillo County had the lowest net domestic migration (-3,170), followed by McKinley County (-1,053), and Lea County (-590).
