According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2024, the net domestic migration for Vermont was -511. Franklin County had the highest net domestic migration (193) followed by Orange County (158), and Orleans County (140). On the other hand, Washington County had the lowest net domestic migration (-425), followed by Chittenden County (-280), and Windham County (-200).
