Connecticut Net International Migration By County in 2017

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2017, the net international migration for Connecticut was 14,779. Fairfield County had the highest net international migration (4,850) followed by Hartford County (4,511), and New Haven County (3,482). On the other hand, Middlesex County had the lowest net international migration (261), followed by Litchfield County (266), and Windham County (410).

Net International migration for a given county refers to the difference between the number of people moving to the county from other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States (50 states and District of Columbia) and the number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States.
