According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2011, the net international migration for Iowa was 6,447. Iowa had the highest net international migration (6,447) followed by Polk County (1,633), and Johnson County (1,135). On the other hand, Clay County had the lowest net international migration (-3), followed by Montgomery County (-2), and Hamilton County (-2).
