According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2015, the net international migration for Iowa was 5,701. Polk County had the highest net international migration (975) followed by Johnson County (852), and Story County (722). On the other hand, Boone County had the lowest net international migration (-5), followed by Iowa County (-2), and Wayne County (-1).
