According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2018, the net international migration for Iowa was 3,089. Johnson County had the highest net international migration (570) followed by Polk County (452), and Story County (327). On the other hand, Lee County had the lowest net international migration (-4), followed by Iowa County (-4), and Shelby County (-2).
