Texas Net International Migration By County in 2011

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2011, the net international migration for Texas was 69,106. Harris County had the highest net international migration (20,546) followed by Dallas County (9,894), and Tarrant County (4,709). On the other hand, Zapata County had the lowest net international migration (-20), followed by Matagorda County (-12), and Atascosa County (-12).

Net International migration for a given county refers to the difference between the number of people moving to the county from other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States (50 states and District of Columbia) and the number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States.
