According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2019, the net international migration for Virginia was 25,830. Fairfax County had the highest net international migration (8,234) followed by Prince William County (2,183), and Arlington County (1,811). On the other hand, Westmoreland County had the lowest net international migration (-7), followed by Wythe County (-4), and Franklin County (-4).

Net International migration for a given county refers to the difference between the number of people moving to the county from other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States (50 states and District of Columbia) and the number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States.
