New Hampshire Net International Migration Rate By County in 2012

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2012, the net international migration rate for New Hampshire was 2.6. Grafton County had the highest net international migration rate (4.3) followed by Hillsborough County (4.26), and Merrimack County (2.72). On the other hand, Coos County had the lowest net international migration rate (0.4), followed by Cheshire County (0.94), and Carroll County (0.99).

Net International migration rate for a given county refers to the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States (50 states and District of Columbia) and the number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States per 1,000 of the mid-year population of the county.
