Colorado Net Migration By County in 2012

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2012, the net migration for Colorado was 38,987. Denver County had the highest net migration (9,140) followed by Arapahoe County (6,262), and Jefferson County (4,453). On the other hand, Bent County had the lowest net migration (-606), followed by Crowley County (-433), and Grand County (-414).

Net migration for a county refers to the difference between the number of migrants, both domestic and international, moving to the county and those leaving the county. Or to put it simply, the net migration for a given county is the inbound migration minus the outbound migration for that county.
