Florida Net Migration By County in 2013

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2013, the net migration for Florida was 217,007. Miami-Dade County had the highest net migration (21,236) followed by Palm Beach County (21,079), and Hillsborough County (17,938). On the other hand, Leon County had the lowest net migration (-2,980), followed by Gadsden County (-533), and Columbia County (-472).

Net migration for a county refers to the difference between the number of migrants, both domestic and international, moving to the county and those leaving the county. Or to put it simply, the net migration for a given county is the inbound migration minus the outbound migration for that county.
