According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2021, the net migration for Georgia was 45,617. Forsyth County had the highest net migration (7,344) followed by Cherokee County (6,159), and Paulding County (3,816). On the other hand, Fulton County had the lowest net migration (-9,885), followed by DeKalb County (-9,117), and Cobb County (-2,964).

Net migration for a county refers to the difference between the number of migrants, both domestic and international, moving to the county and those leaving the county. Or to put it simply, the net migration for a given county is the inbound migration minus the outbound migration for that county.
