According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net migration for Utah was 11,623. Utah County had the highest net migration (7,511) followed by Washington County (4,196), and Tooele County (1,520). On the other hand, Salt Lake County had the lowest net migration (-8,119), followed by Summit County (-498), and Beaver County (-113).

Net migration for a county refers to the difference between the number of migrants, both domestic and international, moving to the county and those leaving the county. Or to put it simply, the net migration for a given county is the inbound migration minus the outbound migration for that county.
