According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2011, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for Arizona was 4.37. Greenlee County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (21.74), followed by Yuma County (18.97), and Mohave County (14.4). On the other hand, Coconino County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-10.43), followed by Pinal County (-9.42), and Navajo County (-9.18).

Net migration rate for a county refers to the difference between the number of migrants, both domestic and international, moving to the county and those leaving the county per 1,000 of the county's mid-year population.
