According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for Georgia was 8.05. Long County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (56.17), followed by Jackson County (50.23), and Dawson County (48.77). On the other hand, Telfair County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-122.16), followed by Wheeler County (-31.27), and Chattahoochee County (-24.82).
