According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for Indiana was 3.28. Hancock County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (35.9), followed by Boone County (20.57), and Hendricks County (15.16). On the other hand, Ohio County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-8.59), followed by LaGrange County (-7.68), and Elkhart County (-7.02).
