According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for Maryland was 0.34. Frederick County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (16.41), followed by Somerset County (16.11), and Queen Anne's County (15.01). On the other hand, Baltimore city had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-7.5), followed by Prince George's County (-3.35), and Baltimore County (-2.49).
