According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2021, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for Michigan was -2.27. Keweenaw County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (31.19), followed by Crawford County (29.62), and Montmorency County (28.58). On the other hand, Luce County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-60.21), followed by Ingham County (-44.98), and Chippewa County (-21.01).
