According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for Montana was 15.82. Musselshell County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (59.94), followed by Broadwater County (58.04), and Lincoln County (48.99). On the other hand, Roosevelt County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-20.16), followed by Treasure County (-18.4), and Daniels County (-12.06).
