According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2015, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for South Carolina was 11.76. Horry County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (37), followed by Lancaster County (31.13), and Jasper County (23.43). On the other hand, Bamberg County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-28.9), followed by Lee County (-26.28), and Allendale County (-25.18).
