According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2016, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for Tennessee was 6.2. Trousdale County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (208.91), followed by Williamson County (29.45), and Wilson County (27.05). On the other hand, Lauderdale County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-60.7), followed by Haywood County (-11.04), and Hardeman County (-7.86).
